MAXRES and Ascent Flight Training

We’re proud to share that MAXRES has been selected to deliver a trial of our Embedded Virtual Instructor Training (EVIT) headset solution for Ascent Flight Training at RAF Shawbury, supporting initial military helicopter training.

This opportunity builds on the success of our previous collaboration with 28 Squadron RAF, where our VR headset-based training demonstrated strong results for enhancing learning outcomes, standardisation and maximising training quality.

Working closely with Ascent’s subject matter experts, we’ll be helping to design, manage, and deliver immersive EVIT experiences for the UK’s Military Flight Training System (UKMFTS), aimed at improving training effectiveness, reliability, and cost-efficiency. This initial trial will provide key insights and metrics to assess the viability of integrating EVIT into core training programs.
