Ascent - Hardware delivered

MAXRES was delighted to be invited to Ascent Flight Training headquarters in Bristol yesterday. We were hosted by Robbie Burns, Rotary Wing Principle Design Manager, to hand over the headsets to be used for content delivery for the trial at RAF Shawbury. We also had the privilege of demoing some of our enhanced headset training capability to the Ascent senior management team.

Built on proven content delivery, with 28 Sqn RAF, this capability will deliver localised Embedded Virtual Instructor Training (EVIT) scenarios to enhance the trainee learning experience, reduce instructor demo time, improve standardisation and augment the existing training.

The trial will run throughout 2026, and we look forward to working with the Ascent team and seeing the results and the efficiencies this will bring.
